From 1 April 2025

The minimum wage is £13.00 per hour for all employees

An employee who is above compulsory school age is entitled to receive the minimum wage irrespective of their occupation, employment sector, gender or racial group or contract type. The minimum wage rate is prescribed by the Social Security Minister.

Offsets

The maximum values that may be offset each week (where the employee receives minimum wage) accommodation, or accommodation and food, are provided to an employee, are:

•   £146.02 for accommodation only, or
•   £194.60 for accommodation and food
